Engines
The Bandy Engines.
Toyota of Brazil produced Bandeirantes from 1962-2001. During this time, the vehicle was outfitted with 4 distinct engines—three manufactured by Mercedes-Benz of Brazil and one final unit by the Toyota Motor Corporation (in Japan) itself. Technically, each engine represented an upgrade over its predecessors. However, as with all other things Bandy-related, the truth lies in the eye of the driver.
